Classification of grease

ISO 6743/9 (Group X) is the international standard for lubricating grease. China has promulgated the national standard of GB 7631.8 (Group X) lubricating grease accordingly. This classification standard applies to all kinds of greases for lubricating various equipment, mechanical parts, vehicles, etc. It does not apply to greases for special purposes, such as contact with food, radiation, high vacuum, etc. That is to say, it is suitable for lubricating grease only, but not for sealing and protecting grease. This classification criterion is based on the operating conditions of grease application, such as temperature, load and water pollution.
